Hi, I'm Geetika!
I’m the person who pauses in the middle of a walk because the sky suddenly got interesting. Who notices the shadow of a plant on the wall, the way someone’s eyes soften when they smile, or how a dog’s whole body wiggles when it’s happy. Those tiny scenes stick in my head long after they’re gone.
Painting is how I replay them.
As a kid, I was happiest when I had any surface I could paint on—paper, wood, stone, marble, cardboard. I’ve played with crayons, watercolors, markers, and acrylics, filling page after page with flowers, houses, fields, and whatever animal I was obsessed with that week. That simple joy of “let me try to put this feeling in paint” never really went away—it just grew up with me.
Today, my work moves between landscapes, florals, portraits, and animals. Most of my work is in acrylic medium or mixed media.
Sometimes it’s a vase of flowers that almost feels like it’s leaning toward you.
Sometimes it’s an animal caught in one small, charming moment.
I paint in layers—building up color, softening edges, and simplifying shapes until the piece feels calm, gentle, and alive. I love that a painting can quietly change the mood of a room: making a corner feel more peaceful, a wall feel warmer, or a workspace feel a little more “you.”
I am an active member of the Fine Art League of Cupertino and won the Mayor choice award for one of my paintings in the Fall festival (2025). My paintings are exhibited at Cupertino Library and Quinlan Center. I have been teaching art to kids and have conducted various art workshops for adults too.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I hope you find a piece that feels like it belongs in your everyday life—on a wall you walk past a dozen times a day, quietly keeping you company.
